About Shooting Star Children's Hospices, Christopher's

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices are a leading children’s hospice charity supporting over 700 children and their families, across Surrey and West London, 365 days a year.

The memorial garden, known as the Willow Garden, was designed by Selina Botham of Designs for all Seasons Ltd, in 2014. It is a re-creation of a design that won RHS Silver and the coveted People’s Choice – Best in Show at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2014. Featuring trees with bronze leaves, it was created as a restful and restorative space for bereaved families.

In 2022, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices were delighted to welcome a second award-winning garden, courtesy of wealth-management company Brewin Dolphin. The sustainability inspired garden, created by Paul Hervey-Brookes was repurposed from his RHS Chelsea Flower Show silver-medal winning entry, with the designer and a team of volunteers personally replanting the garden at the hospice over several days.
