About Special Plants

Box, yew and purple beech sculptured hedges follow the curves of the fields and hills beyond, anchoring the garden in the landscape. Wavy bridge to newly planted field of windbreak trees with sunset-viewing seat. Wobbly bridge over a hidden gorge. Shapes carved into field. Ancient horse chestnut overlooks 13 compost heaps. New plants constantly being tried, most available next door at Special Plants nursery.
