Stowey Gardens

These gardens continue to attract visitors from near and far, and offer a broad spectrum of interest, styles and developments each year. The visitor's senses are aroused by the sights, scents and wide diversity of the gardens in this tiny, ancient village. There are abundant collections of mature trees and shrubs and ample seating within tranquil areas of the gardens, often with glorious views. Visitors enjoy the flower-packed borders and pots, roses, topiary, hydrangeas, exotic garden, many unusual trees and shrubs, orchards, vegetables, ponds, specialist sweet peas, lawns and a ha-ha. There is something of interest for everyone, all within a few minutes walk of the car park at Dormers.

About Stowey Gardens

Each garden has its own very different style and planting. These range from the tranquil calm of Stowey Mead, with its mature trees and topiary; to Manor Farm’s extensive views from its lavender edged lawns to the Mendips; to the rockery bank at Vicarage Cottage; and to the exuberant, Christopher Lloyd inspired, exotic beds at Dormers. The visitor’s senses will be aroused by the sights and scents and amazing diversity of these delightful gardens in the tiny, ancient village of Stowey. Our gardens attract many returning visitors!

From Chelwood r'about take A368 to Weston-s-Mare. At Stowey Xrds turn R to car park, 150yds down lane, ample off road parking opp Dormers. Limited disabled parking at each garden which will be signed.
