About Sussex Cottage

The house was built in 1926, and many of the features of this unique garden date back to this time. The garden had been neglected for many years and I am gradually restoring the garden and bringing it back to life. A winding path takes you around the garden, gradually climbing to the rear of the garden and giving views of many different aspects. A number of well-established trees give a sense of privacy. The garden has mostly traditional planting, along with a small lawn and some raised vegetable beds. There are a number of seating areas around the garden where you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake.
