About The Barn Gallery and Rose Gardens
The Rose Gardens and Rose Walk contains circa 300 roses of over one hundred varieties. The Rose Walk leads up a sloping hill on the farm past hedges of David Austin roses and shrubs, fruit trees and garden features, to an elevated viewing point. Here a seating area within a stone circle allows spectacular views across Dundrum Bay to Newcastle, Kilkeel and the Mourne Mountains.
The downward path meanders through Prairie Planting with a Lavatera hedge, herbaceous perennials and shrubs, and hundreds of Dahlias and Sunflowers in season.
Original stone built farmyard of Byre, Barn and Stable featuring a fishpond, waterfall, rockery, grape vines, honeysuckle, hydrangeas and rambling roses.
Artist’s Studio and Gallery featuring Oil Paintings of local landscapes and seascapes.
A visit here is an Art and Horticultural Experience all in one.
