The Barn Gallery and Rose Gardens

The Garden contains circa 300 roses of over 100 varieties. The rose walk leads up hill to a stunning view point across Dundrum Bay to Newcastle, Kilkeel and the Mournes. The downhill route leads through massed dahlias and a white garden to a planting of sunflowers. Original stone built farmyard, fishpond, waterfall, rockery, herbaceous perennials etc. Artist's Studio and Gallery.

About The Barn Gallery and Rose Gardens

The Rose Gardens and Rose Walk contains circa 300 roses of over one hundred varieties. The Rose Walk leads up a sloping hill on the farm past hedges of David Austin roses and shrubs, fruit trees and garden features, to an elevated viewing point. Here a seating area within a stone circle allows spectacular views across Dundrum Bay to Newcastle, Kilkeel and the Mourne Mountains.
The downward path meanders through Prairie Planting with a Lavatera hedge, herbaceous perennials and shrubs, and hundreds of Dahlias and Sunflowers in season.
Original stone built farmyard of Byre, Barn and Stable featuring a fishpond, waterfall, rockery, grape vines, honeysuckle, hydrangeas and rambling roses.
Artist’s Studio and Gallery featuring Oil Paintings of local landscapes and seascapes.
A visit here is an Art and Horticultural Experience all in one.

From Clough on A2 6 m. After Minerstown turn R signed St John's Point. From Killough A2 1.8 m turn L. Park opp Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, then 2 min walk. Limited disabled parking at garden.
