About The Delves

An unexpected hidden, magical, partly walled garden, where the smell of cultivated moss is prevalent, showing how much can be achieved in a small space. An oasis of calm with five amazing 12,000 year old wooden pinnacles from ancient Asian flooded forests, densely planted rich, lush foliage, tree ferns, hostas, cloud-pruned topiary and an abundance of well maintained shrubs, complimented by a small pond, three water features and small secluded seating areas designed for year round interest.

Featured on BBC TV Gardeners World 2017 and ITV Good Morning Britain 2018, Garden News April 2023. Runner up Daily Mail National Garden Competition 2017. Awarded 2nd place by Gardeners News for Best Small Garden.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from May to 27 October for groups of up to 10.
