About The Leasowes, Cound

The Leasowes Garden and Arboretum has been established by enthusiastic amateurs Tricia and Robert Bland over the last 20 years.

A wide selection of unusual trees including over 140 maples from around the world have been planted across 2 meadow fields and a wooded valley with views overlooking the River Severn valley and The Wrekin. Within the super structure of mature larches and interconnected ponds, a wide range of rhododendrons and azaleas have been planted as well as shade appreciating trees and shrubs. A large offering of roses of all descriptions provide colour throughout the formal gardens.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from 15 March to November for groups of between 15 and 25.
