The Squash Cafe Garden

The Squash Shop and Cafe is a Community Designed Eco Building. The cafe garden is situated behind the building. Fruit trees, herbs, vegetables and flowers are grown in raised and moveable beds. The garden produce is used by the cafe and the garden provides a beautiful inspiring space for customers to enjoy the delicious food on offer.

About The Squash Cafe Garden

Squash is a Community Interest Company with over 100 local members. Most of the products, fruit and vegetables sold in the shop are organically grown. The compost waste from the cafe /shop is recycled back into food for the soil at the compost beds at the Grapes Community Food Garden. The building has solar panels and a water catchment system on the roof.
