Three Eaton Gardens

Three town gardens 15 minutes from the City Centre. 19 Branksome Road has been designed with quite formal shaped lawns and terraces to fit around the house and make sunny seating areas. There are clipped yews, an oak pergola and swing seat to provide structure, while the planting is a relaxed mixture of perennials, shrubs and trees. A traditional vegetable plot with fruit cage and greenhouse is a small but important part of the garden. 15 Waverley Road has a long town garden that's pretending it is in the country. Divided into three section, it is packed with herbaceous perennials, roses, native plants and a large (and growing) collection of Pelargoniums. Although it is in the city, it still manages to look natural. It is gardened with a streak of wildness. Coach House Court is a tranquil and secluded courtyard garden with abundant trees, shrubs inc roses, climbers, perennials and container plants that gives all year interest. A nature pond attracts lots of birds and insects.

About Three Eaton Gardens

19 Branksome Road’s garden was started ten years ago from a cleared plot, and has been designed with quite formal shaped lawns and terraces to fit around the house and make sunny seating areas. There are clipped yews, an oak pergola and similar swing seat to provide structure, while the planting is a more relaxed mixture, mostly of perennials.
The traditional vegetable plot with fruit cage and greenhouse is a small but important part of the garden.
15 Waverley Road’s garden was also planted about 10 years ago and is a town garden that includes wild plants and nature as well as herbaceous perennials, roses and a growing collection of Pelargoniums. The garden is divided into three sections with a gravelled ‘courtyard’ nearest the house, flower borders and a gravelled path in the middle, leading to a wild garden with a miniature meadow and fruit trees. There is a quirky summer house and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the plants. All three owners are friends who volunteer with Norwich Community Gardeners, looking after the City Hall beds and beds at Norwich Station.
