About Treberfydd House

Treberfydd House has the only Nesfield garden still tended by the same family that commissioned it. Nesfield was the great society gardener of his day and many of his signature themes can be found at Treberfydd – such as the Long Walk, parterres, and a mighty Cedar of Lebanon planted in isolation so it could grow to a spectacular girth and height.
Treberfydd offers a self-guided tree tour which takes about 30 minutes. A shorter version is wheel-chair friendly.
There are also tours of the house on offer during the NGS open day (limited numbers on each tour, additional charge). These are always conducted by a member of the Raikes family.

House tours are an additional £3.00 on the day.
