Owners have taken 19 years to develop a generally sloping 1-acre garden, including introducing many new UK and unusual trees. Old railway cottage set in herbaceous borders, including raised stone walls. Arches support clematis and roses are in profusion. Patio with many pots of colourful & unusual plants.
The garden slopes down to a productive fruit & veg area, ponds, spinney, wild areas. Although south facing and predominately with well drained light soil, there is unusually an area that was once a peat bog.
Ponds and natural habitats support a mix of wildlife. The patio and other seating areas allow enjoyment of different vistas including Llanymynech Rocks. See clematis climb through roses and shrubs.
