Victoria Lodge

A Victorian Villa with a large veranda overlooking the garden, comprising lawn, steps and pathways inviting you in to explore the view. Laid out with plenty of seating areas from which to enjoy the scenery. Even though this garden will always be evolving, it has a timeless feel to complement the house.

About Victoria Lodge

Taken on in 2016, extensive work was done to remove years of ivy from the boundary walls, and flowerbeds. In 2017 the verandah was added. The landscaping started in lockdown,
working with the existing pond, mature trees, and shrubs, and adding in a lot more.
During works the remains of a cottage were found at the bottom of the garden,
and incorporated into the design. Large amounts of stone, flint, slate, and tiles were also unearthed, including the original 1850’s Cottage Place sign, all of which was recycled into the landscaping.

Yes, dogs are welcome at Victoria Lodge. Please keep the dogs on fixed short leads in the garden and keep in mind that you are responsible for controlling the dog’s behaviour. For any specific rules please ask the owners.
