Walled Garden at Hampton Manor

Nestled in 45 acre estate Hampton Manor, the Victorian walled garden is a delightful ornamental kitchen garden growing food for the kitchens. The guiding principle is biodiversity with soil health, no digging, organic growing and composting underpinning the produce. You'll be welcomed with hot drinks and a signature welcome cookie. Then join the gardeners for a private tour of the walled garden.

About Walled Garden at Hampton Manor

Wander around our walled garden where we grow fresh vegetables and fruits for our Michelin-starred restaurant Grace and Savour, casual, produce-led restaurant Kynd and our event kitchen.

Our gardening philosophy centres on biodiversity. We don’t dig our garden to keep soil life intact, with no chemical fertilisers or pesticides. We enrich the soil using homemade compost, created from both garden and kitchen waste using hot bins.

Join us on our Open Day. We’ll welcome you with hot drinks and our signature welcome cookie on arrival. Then you’ll join our gardeners for a private tour of our walled garden where you can ask questions and gardening tips. As a little parting gift, you’ll take home a packet of seeds from our garden to recreate the moment you had with us.

If you want to extend your visit, we invite you to book a table or stay at hamptonmanor.com. Overnight guests enjoy access to the wider estate, including a peaceful woodland walk.
