Wellcome Genome Campus

The Campus contains many historic features inc an C18 Hall, a former fishing lodge, pleasure garden and croquet lawn. Many references to fish reflect its former name, Trout Hall. Our orchard is a Priority One habitat, important to biodiversity. Flanking the conference centre are a meadow and fine oak specimens, and in the main lake south of the orchard are carp, reflecting the history of the Hall.

From S: M11 J9, take A1301 towards Cambridge. 1st L at r’about, then at next r’about follow signs for Genome Campus. From N: M11 J10, E towards Saffron Walden for 1m on A505. At r’about take the 3rd exit (A1301). Cont for approx 1m.
