A garden for flower-lovers and a great favourite with visitors who come back year after year to relish the peaceful setting and see what’s new in the borders. There is a huge variety of interesting herbaceous and other plants, many old-fashioned roses. Trees, including an old mulberry, shrubs, lawns and ‘things in pots’. Formal pond with fish near the house. Wildlife water-garden with newts, frogs and other creatures including leeches (children need to be supervised here). Parakeet-proof bird-feeding station.

Blue and white planting round the formal goldfish pond. Glorious colours elsewhere to attract bees and butterflies. Lots of old-fashioned roses, fine delphiniums, many unusual perennials and planters full of jolly annuals and specimen plants. Ancient mulberry tree. Attractive early C20th greenhouse.

Plenty of plants for sale, home-grown from seed, cuttings and division of perennials (cash preferred). Please bring your own bags for plants.
