About 36 Ashley Road

The garden has over 40 varieties of Japanese acers and an ever-expanding collection of ferns as well as shade-loving perennials. Recent developments include an enlarged fern wall and, for 2023, a tower of flowers.

A wide range of young flowering plants, shade plants and ferns propagated from specimens in the garden will be on sale. Some mature specimens of shuttlecock fern and polypody should also be available.

Tea and cakes can be enjoyed indoors in the pop-up cafe or on benches sited throughout the garden.
