4 Halliday Lane

This is a relatively new garden work having started in November 2019 when the house was purchased. The aim was to provide a family space with simple planting to encourage wildlife into the garden.

About 4 Halliday Lane

The border leading to the front door has full sun at one end and deep shade at the other. Planting includes acers with a lower storey of yew that will be clipped to shape as it grows. A variety of ferns and heucheras are used to provide structure and interest year-round. Pachysandra is used as ground cover.
The main garden is a combination of evergreen oak, climbing roses and hydrangea with clematis used to cover the garden fence.
Silver birches are used to provide additional structure.
Three years ago the lawn was seeded with wildflower meadow seed mix but is an ongoing project to get the best out of it!
