About 46 Belmont Road
A Tropical Oasis Awaits – Right Here at Home
Step into a hidden tropical haven, now open to the public for the very first time. Though modest in size, this garden bursts with bold, architectural planting – from towering banana plants and palms to lush bamboos, cannas, Tetrapanax, Schefflera, and Dicksonia antarctica. Hardy perennials weave through the foliage, adding colour and softness to the scene.
The garden features two inviting decking areas – one large, one smaller – perfect spots to sit back, unwind, and soak in the vibrant, leafy surroundings. A small wildlife pond brings life and movement, attracting birds, frogs, and pollinators alike.
At the heart of the garden stands a welcoming summer house, open for visitors to enjoy – a peaceful retreat framed by tropical greenery. And greeting once you enter into the garden is our most unusual host: Belmont, a friendly 6ft wooden bear, ready to welcome you with a smile.
Come and explore this little slice of the tropics – a calm, green escape just waiting to be discovered.
