About 5 Mayfield Way

17 year old average size town garden was created from a new bare-earth plot by the owners. Very heavily planted with a mixture of perennials, shrubs, trees and bulbs. It also contains a large pond for the garden size and several seating areas specifically located so that the garden can be viewed from different angles. Designed and constructed by the owners with the intention of attracting insects and birds. Significant changes recently included the removal of parts of some beds and the redesign/replanting of other beds to maximise the use of space and reduce over-crowding and the construction over lockdown of 2 large raised beds.
