A semi-urban garden, 100ft from the road to the back on the Festival Way NCN cycle path. A cottage garden with metal art work, lawn, patio, roses, raised beds for vegetables sown in our greenhouse as well as climbers, fruit trees and soft fruit. The terraced front garden has one of our container ponds and a self-made bin store with green roof. We maximise recycling with composts and water butts.

We have a kiwi tree, blueberries, gooseberry, apple trees, pear trees (including stepovers), rhubarb. Vegetables: squashes, potatoes, sweetcorn, radishes, parsnips, tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, chillis, cucumbers, sunflowers, fig. Trees: acer, gingko, Magnolia, silver birch, holly, apple, pears, blossom trees, beech hedges. Herbs: rosemary, mints, parsley, basil, vietnamese coriander, blackcurrant sage. Citrus: Lemon trees, young lime tree. Patio and pergola with clematis, jasmine and honeysuckle climbers and a potted olive tree. Mixed planting with annual sweet peas, Hydrangeas, poppies, salvia caradonna, peonies, coreopsis moonbeam, erysium bowles mauve, diascia, foxgloves, gaura, catmint, lavender, scabiosa, geums, helianthemums, aliums. Pelargonium collection in terracotta pots, obelisks, arches, metal art work, various seating.
