Aconites, snowdrops, blue and white bells, primroses, alliums, aquilegia, poppies, geraniums, roses, honeysuckle, Philadelphia, acers, wisteria, autumn crocus, perennial sweet pea, perennial sunflowers, some fruit trees, small pond. Full of wildlife.

About Bank Cottage

A mature traditional cottage garden which the owner has mainly kept as bought 23 years ago.
The garden is on different levels and leads down to a narrow river which runs into nearby Bradgate Park. This river contains brown trout and lamprey.
Large variety of wildlife seen in the garden – muntjac, greater spotted woodpecker, Jay
green woodpecker, goldfinches, bullfinches, nuthatch, rabbit, hedgehog , buzzard and bats.
The garden surrounds a slate roofed 17th and part 19th century traditional cottage

From Leicester via Anstey Bank cottage is on the L after Markfield Ln, just before a public footpath sign. If coming via Warren Hill cottage is on the R just after public footpath sign.
