About Boldshaves

Boldshaves is a 7-acre garden surrounded by about 100 acres of its own ancient woodland, and has been almost entirely created by the owners during the past 30 years in sympathy with the Arts & Crafts period house whose architect, Robert William Marchant, was Sir Edwin Lutyens’ first pupil. South-facing with impressive views of the Wealden landscape, the setting for the many varying parts of the garden is entirely peaceful, and the range of plants grown is significant.
