About Dene Lodge

A west facing garden where you will find shrubs, trees, roses, bulbs & perennials. To the left of the patio is a small pond and overhead a Wisteria covers a large pergola which overhangs a larger terrace surrounded by a rock garden with steps leading down to a decking area next to a much larger pond with fish, irises and lilies. This pond can also be reached via a ramp and lawn to a lower patio with overhanging roses, clematis and jasmine. Beyond that is a further lawn with a raised bed to one side and borders on the other containing bulbs and perennials with a small greenhouse to one side, then through a rose and laburnum arch to the vegetable garden where there are three beds with dwarf apple and plum trees trained against a trellis and other apples trees as well as a fruit cage containing strawberries, redcurrants, raspberries and blackcurrants.
