Fairlight End

Gardens Illustrated said 'The 18th century house is at the highest point in the garden with views down the slope over abundant borders and velvety lawns that are punctuated by clusters of specimen trees and shrubs. Beyond and below are the wildflower meadows and the ponds with a backdrop of the gloriously unspoilt Wealden landscape'.

About Fairlight End

At the Sussex Heritage Trust awards ceremony, Fairlight End was given a 2015 Award in the Landscape and Gardens category. The judges citation commented: ‘A thoughtful and beautiful integration of the countryside and garden landscape with contemporary elements, such as steel borders, in an infinity style. Sculptural pieces complement the listed house and perform as plant supports. Old character trees add a timeless feel to the new plantings.’

As seen on ITV’s ‘Love your Garden’ with Alan Titchmarsh, and BBC’s Gardener’s World’ with Joe Swift. Featured in Gardens Illustrated and The English Garden.
