Grapes Community Food Garden

The Grapes community Food Garden has been developed over the last 10 years with local residents and community members. Weekly gardening and cooking sessions take place in the garden all year-round. We grow a large variety of fruit trees and bushes, herbs, vegetables and flowers. We also grow plants to save seeds for the Toxteth Seed Library.

About Grapes Community Food Garden

The garden is funded by Squash Liverpool. We also raise funds by selling plants, fresh and dry herbs, and ask for donations for our seeds. Surplus produce goes to the cafe kitchen or is sold through the shop. We also make products, preserves and work with artists to find creative ways to utilise all that we grow. Summer cafes, creative workshops, courses and events also take place in the garden. The main aim of the garden is to enhance the wellbeing of all who enter.
