About Hayton Village Gardens
Easily accessible, delightful village 1/2 mile off the A69 with a green growing one of the oldest walnut trees in the country & remnants of damson orchards grown for the dyeing industry. Central pub ‘The Stone Inn’ (weekend meals & WCs). Close to UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall & on the Hadrian’s Wall cycle route. Also Talkin Tarn, N. Pennine fells, Eden Valley and small market town of Brampton with particular attractions such as a Philip Webb Church (Burne Jones stained glass).
