Hoveringham Gardens

Hoveringham is a pretty village by the River Trent which inc a church, a pub and Village Hall, where teas will be served. There are seven gardens, one of which contrasts well with an established beautiful NGS garden which opens in April separately. The two small group gardens are exquisitely planted and one inc a Bonsai collection. The three larger traditional gardens inc the rambling grounds of the Hall where Pimms will be served under elegant mature trees on the lawn, with sweeping views and a riverside property which boasts a rose garden and Orchid house - the large gardens inc herbaceous borders, rock gardens, ornamental trees, growing areas and greenhouses. There will be a plant stall and clog dancing arranged for 2.15pm and 3.30pm. Look out for the Victorian Orchard, Water Tower, Greenhouse, and possibly Nottinghamshire’s oldest swing.
