About Hoveton Hall Gardens

Set at the edge of the Norfolk Broads, Hoveton Hall Gardens is a delightful mix of formal and informal planting across the seasons. Owned by the Buxton family the gardens offer something for everyone.

Visit in May and June to see our glorious displays of azaleas and rhododendrons or in July and August to view our beautiful walled ‘Spider garden’ which offers a haven for wildlife with its collection of rare and unusual plants. Our informal woodland and arboretum are perfect places for children to explore and enjoy our new ‘Nature Spy’ activity. The gardens are also home to an 18th century ice well and an early 19th century glass house – one of only three of its type in the country.
