About Ivy Cottage

The garden at Ivy Cottage is being created around an old property and all the planting apart from several mature trees has been done in the past 3 years. All parts of the garden are visible from the cottage and with that in mind it was planted to give all year round interest.

A productive kitchen garden is at the front of the property and has been designed and planted in an ornamental manner incorporating not only fruit and vegetables but lots of flowering plants and a fruit hedge to blend in with the rest of the garden.

Created by garden writer and broadcaster Martin Fish the garden is very much a working garden and is regularly used in photoshoots for several garden magazines, film shoots and the Pots & Trowels YouTube channel.
