Johnby Hall

Large, very informal and natural mature garden around an ancient manor house. Intriguing courtyards are full of wild flowers and old roses; the 1683 walled garden is now an orchard. Wildflower lawns and meadows in summer, a bluebell walk through the beginnings of a pinetum with some unusual young specimens, and a field of free-range rare-breed pigs.
