The herbaceous borders are densely planted to provide continuous colour throughout the year they contain many unusual and interesting plants as well as the more traditional cottage varieties. The herbaceous borders sing with colour as displays of salvia are surpassed by dahlia drifts with gingers Brugmansia and various bananas and bamboos adding an exotic note, There are many different canna inc several large Ehemannii, Grasses sway above the blooms giving movement.
