About Lambshield

3 ½ acre country garden surrounding a modernised farmhouse and old stone farm buildings in a working farm. The garden was first planted in 2010 within some mature trees. Designed by Emma Fenwick. Distinct areas of differing styles including late flowering herbaceous, grasses and contemporary planting, semi-formal pool garden, cottage garden, orchard and woodland. Clipped formal hedging and cloud box hedging. Pleached trees and topiary. Modern sculptures. Cleft larch fencing, oak gates and green oak buildings by local craftsmen constructed from trees from surrounding woodland. Small walled vegetable garden. Developing woodland garden.
