Mill Barn

Mill Barn is an informal cottage garden set in a millstream landscape. It has 12 herbaceous borders with displays of flowers throughout the seasons that inc a variety of roses. A pergola covered in grape vines and roses lead to a vegetable plot surrounded by a cordon of fruit trees. A variety of fruit trees throughout the garden inc mulberry, medlar and quince.

About Mill Barn

Mill Barn garden has the best show of roses, delphiniums, alstroemerias and many other cottage garden flowers from mid June until mid July. However, the garden is planted to have a show of flowers throughout the summer months and there is still a lot of colour from dahlias and asters in September. The brick paths are suitable for wheelchairs and there are plenty of places to sit. Mill Barn was featured in the Oxford Magazine, Garden News and Garden Answer’s magazines.
