About Norley Court
Between the trees on the banks the first signs of spring, after the snowdrops are the many tiny daffodils. They cover the banks before the bluebells arrive. The garden matures into Summer with perennials and annuals, framed by the clipped box and yew hedges and a walled garden. Tree poppies, late flowering rhododendrons, rock roses, brooms, peonies, hardy fuschias, jasmine, hydrangeas, potentillas, hardy geraniums, climbing, rambling, shrub and other roses. With an emphasis on perfumed plants there are many tree stocks, philadelphus, jasmine, narcissus, wisteria and a huge magnolia grandiflora. In Autumn the red oaks, the beeches, the maples, the cornus and the liquidambar colour up into the most vibrant reds, oranges and yellows.
