The garden is designed to join seemlessly with the wilder areas of the smallholding, with stone walls being used to separate the scrub from the more cultivated areas.
An acre of garden on a sloping south facing hillside 250m high and terraced on several levels with dry stone walls. Designed to provide year-round interest, to benefit wildlife, provide food and as a setting for our home. The garden consists of a pond, bog garden, rockeries, perennial beds, mixed borders, dry stone walls and vegetable gardens.
