About Skool Beanz Children's Allotment

Skool Beanz is a gardening club for children created by Lara Honnor, which started as an after school club at the local primary school.
The children learn how to grow delicious vegetables, beautiful flowers and how to garden to help nature. Free from pesticides, this is a no dig garden buzzing with life and colour and packed full of inspiring ideas to engage the children.
Also at the allotments is a whole plot planted with sunflowers and pumpkins over the summer, a community orchard and children’s playground. Easter Egg Hunt on the April open day. Live music and stalls selling crafts on both dates.
