About Sprint Mill

Unorthodox organically run garden,the wild and natural alongside provision of owners’ fruit, vegetables and firewood. Idyllic riverside setting, 5 acres to explore inc wooded riverbank with hand-crafted seats. Large vegetable and soft fruit area, following no dig and permaculture principles. Hand tools prevail.

Historic water mill with original turbine. The 3 storey building houses owner's art studio and personal museum, inc collection of old hand tools associated with rural crafts. Goats, hens, ducks, rope swing, very family friendly. Short walk to our flower-rich hay meadows.

From Burneside follow signs towards Skelsmergh for ½m, then L into drive of Sprint Mill. Or from A6, about 1m N of Kendal follow signs towards Burneside, then R into drive.
