Colourful cottage garden surrounding a C16 period house (not open), set in pretty downland village of Charlton, close to Levin Down Nature Reserve. Herbaceous borders well-stocked with a wide range of plants. Variety of perennials, grasses, annuals and shrubs to provide long season of colour and interest. Old well. Busy bees.

For by arrangement visits park opp The Fox Pub or Charlton Barns and walk 50yds to The Folly, keeping right at small island (war memorial). The Folly will be found on the left. Home-made teas £4.

On our open days there will be a selection of cakes and scones available as well as tea, coffee and cold drinks £4.

Directions to The Folly
7m N of Chichester & S of Midhurst off A286 at Singleton, follow signs to Charlton. Follow NGS parking signs. No parking in lane, drop off only. Parking nr the Fox Goes Free pub.
