The Nutshell is a cottage garden in approx ½ acre, created from scratch over the last 25 years. The garden is made up of different areas separated by herbaceous borders and rose arches. There is a lovely selection of plants used inc many peonies and an extensive collection of hostas. The owner has a keen interest in propagation with two polytunnels of plants available to purchase.

About The Nutshell

The Nutshell is a beautiful cottage garden set in about half an acre of land, it was created from scratch over the last twenty five years on what was meadow land. The garden is made up of various different areas separated by herbaceous borders and rose arches. There are many different Peonies, Delphinium’s, Geraniums, roses and an extensive collection of hostas.The owner has a keen interest in propagation with two poly tunnels of plants which are for sale. Other features include two wild life ponds, a small orchard, vintage caravan, climbing clematis pergola and a spring flowering shrubbery.
