About Tyn-y-Graig
Set in the hills, the garden and meadow have extended views, and several walks are possible from the property. The informal house-garden contains many unusual varieties, often grown from seed. The borders are varied: each one planted with an artist’s eye for combination, and include herbs, roses, a fernery, pond, an enclosed white garden, and grass borders. There is a rabbit proofed veg plot with polytunnel, propagation area, and quadruple compost bays, (we make 90% of our own potting compost). The hectare of curated meadow includes only indigenous flora. There are areas of woodland and a large pond as well as a substantial family of self-seeded meadow cranesbill originating from one successful seed germinated 25 years ago.
