Rural garden, approximately 1 acre. The front garden is a mix of mature rhododendron and holly hedges with a long shrub border, there are also beautiful plane trees and silver birch. A trunk of a cedar tree has been carved into an owl. The rear garden was re-landscaped completed in 2019. The garden contains mature oaks and copper beeches and is divided in two by a large border of mix shrubs adding structure with a pergola pathway leading to the end of the second half of the garden. There is a large shady fern path containing a mix of tree ferns, ground ferns, hosta and other woodland plants., with a water feature added in summer 2023. We have a long lavender hedge edging the lawn. Structured raised beds with a water feature and seating area. A wildlife pond with a small jetty, gunnera, reeds and grasses. Leading to the bottom of the garden is a predominantly white bed ending at a summer house and small orchard. Over 3,000 spring bulbs currently planted with more going in each year. 65 ornamental plum trees have been planted to provide screening along right side of garden border. Summer colour is provided by herbaceous perennials and borders are filling more and more each year with planting in drifts. Two sheds with a living roof on each are at the end of the garden with a greenhouse!
