Many mixed borders planted with many choice and unusual trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennial, bulbs and annuals to provide year-round interest. Several seats to view different aspects of the garden. Shady area planted with a wide range of ferns. Vegetable and fruit garden.

About Yew Tree Bungalow

Garden planted for year round interest with many evergreen shrubs especially hollies and flowering shrubs.

In spring the garden has a wide range of bulbs, especially narcissus including historic and more modern cultivars. The shaded parts of garden contains a range of hellebore’s, aconites, wood anemones, epimediums as well as other shade loving plants. A fern garden contains many unusual varieties which have spring bulbs planted between them to give early colour.

Later in the year, the wide mixed borders are planted with a range of herbaceous perennials to give year round colour, including Pulmonarias, Geums, hardy geraniums, Phlox, Crocosmia and Heleniums. Each year a wide range of annuals and Dahlias are planted in the borders to give late colour including Cosmos, Rubeckias and Titonia.

This garden opens for By Arrangement visits from 21 April to 16 August for groups of between 6 and 30.
