Formal gardens designed by Mawson and Avray Tipping include Sunken Borders, Rose Garden and Croquet Lawn. Further from the house are a newly planted Woodland Walk, Bog Garden and renovated Yew Maze. Naturalistic planting, areas left for wildlife and many fine trees. New Kitchen Garden built 2022 and original Messenger Glasshouse. Some steep steps, slopes and uneven ground.
