Hurdley Hall in Churchstoke, Powys is one of those rare beauties where age, nurture and nature combine to create a truly stunning garden. Against the soaring, glorious backdrop of the Roundton Hill Nature Reserve, daffodils and snake head fritillaries jostle in the breeze and in the summer rows of lavender, deep herbaceous borders, a wild flower meadow, topiary and an orchard create an unforgettable impact. In spring, daffodils, buzzing bee hives and new born lambs herald the glories to come. Join owners Simon Cain and Simon Quin for an early virtual visit.

While the garden is not open at the moment why not plan a visit in June for meadow flowers and roses; in July for lavender and herbaceous borders; or in August for hot and white borders.
