About 203 Northridge Way
This is an unusual urban garden, with a huge variety of different plants – many of which have been grown from seeds collected from gardens around the country over many years. For example, seeds from the Papaver Somniferum poppy collected by relatives over 30 years ago have been successfully grown and provide a wonderful display in the front garden year after year.
From three Cana plants, successful dividing has resulted in a riot of late summer flowers in the upper decking area. Tomato seeds collected and dried from tasty tomatoes consumed at restaurants are grown on the following year providing a huge variety of tasty fruit each year. A beehive in the stone circle ensures there are many pollinators around to ensure that the plants are fertilised. The garden is a haven for bats, foxes, woodpeckers and an occasional hedgehog.
