Set in the historic Artisans Quarter of Hampstead Garden Suburb, this ½-acre garden is, to quote Alys Fowler ‘a charming and inspiring take on the rural idyll’. it has three distinct areas – A wide York terrace with containers crammed with summer bedding and herbs looks out through a rose arbour, on to flower-filled borders with many hydrangeas and echiums , a vegetable parterre and a grassy track leading to a secret orchard, with walnut and hazel trees, retaining some native planting and wild flowers.
