Romantic garden benefitting from corner Victorian property with modern extension and garage which has recently been developed to provide undercover outdoor kitchen with pizza oven and work space utilising reclaimed workbench.
Side and rear garden has sunny south west facing aspect. All gardens have been designed and created since the property was acquired in 2006 at which point there was just lawn and the Magnolia and large bay tree on side wall. It has evolved as the trees planted have grown providing more shady areas and our needs have changed too.
Patios, benches and seating provide options for work, rest, relaxation, food preparation and entertainment. There are fish in the water feature in an area with a tropical feel.
The compost bins, shed and small greenhouse make working in the garden easy and productive.
The planting which favours trees and perennial flowering plants is wildlife friendly such that the garden is well used by birds, bees, butterflies, worms, frogs and on occasion a hedgehog we’ve named Russell as that’s how you know he’s about!
