For 2026 Abbotskerswell offers seven gardens, ranging from small to large, plus the village allotments. The gardens offer a wide range of planting styles and innovative landscaping. Cottage gardens, terracing, wildflower areas, specialist plants and an arboretum. Ideas for every type and size of garden. Visitors are welcome to picnic in the field or arboretum at Fairfield.

About Abbotskerswell Gardens

For 2026 Abbotskerswell Gardens offers seven gardens plus the village allotments.
The different styles of the seven gardens offer something for every visitor, whether you look for inspiration for a small town garden, or the stimulus to redesign your large plot. Pretty Abbotskerswell has many streams and waterways which feature in quite a few of the gardens. The wide range of gardens display beautiful cottage garden planting, wide herbaceous borders, wildflower areas, specialist plants, vegetable cultivation and, pergolas and carefully considered colour schemes. There is an arboretum, a woodland and a very active community of keen allotmenteers. Abbotskerswell is particularly known for the friendly welcome it gives all our visitors and many return year after year to see what we have done since last year. If the weather is good, we welcome people to picnic in the field or arboretum at Fairfield. Featured on Radio Devon’s The Potting Shed and attracting wide local press coverage. Maps available at all gardens and in the tearoom at Church House.
