About Folly Farm Cottage

Surrounded by high hedges & surrounding fields, this is both a natural garden which attracts an abundance of wildlife & insects, with formal garden areas, making it a very enjoyable & tranquil garden setting. The garden has 4 connecting rooms, planted with spring bulbs including snowdrops, bluebells, tulips & crocus. The main lawn is bordered with a variety of plants, ornamental trees, shrubs and rose bed. A large pond with a series of smaller feeder ponds is edged with mature trees & grasses, including a golden willow, variegated holly, mimosa tree. A natural pathway leads you on to a small fruit orchard, which has also been planted with spring bulbs and comassia before leading you round to the tennis court, greenhouse, raised bed and hydrangea & box ball border.
Far reaching views of Eggardon hill & the surrounding fields and open countryside can be enjoyed en-route when viewing the garden.
