Frome Gardens

Three contrasting and exciting secret town gardens with unusual and interesting styles of design and planting complementing each other. All are returning gardens; Sancerre, a large mature garden with a newly landscaped courtyard garden formerly a swimming pool; 61 Nunney Rd, a well-cared for garden, has been redesigned from 2020 by a new owner who considers herself an untidy planter as she falls for plants and then finds the right place for them! Finally, 1 Tucker Close, a small walled town garden of unusual design planted by the owner with wildlife in mind. Its borders are set with decking and slate rather than grass.

About Frome Gardens

A warm welcome awaits at 3 different town gardens. Sancerre is a large garden hidden from view with a newly landscaped courtyard garden, formerly a swimming pool, leading on to a mature garden with flower beds and some vegetables. September 2020 brought a new owner to the garden at 61 Nunney Road which is well cared for with planting considerably added to. Terrace, lawn, trees and shrubs, 3 main flower beds, interesting established fruit trees, 2 small deep ponds, wild corner, vegetable patch with greenhouse. The owner considers herself an untidy planter as she falls for plants and then finds the right place for them! 1 Tuckers Close, an interestingly designed and planted walled town garden by the owners on a fairly new estate. It has an unexpected design with wide beds, exuberant planting and a small cauldron pond. Everything is planted with wildlife in mind, its borders are set with decking and slate rather than grass.
